November 2, 2025 – Guest on Doreen Lee and Iowa Collaborative Piano program recital. Repertoire: Joseph Jongen’s Aria et Polonaise and Jordan VanHemert’s As the Willow Tree Grows.
October 24, 2025 – Yet to be named trombone quartet (Ty Waters, Xiaoyu Liu, Caleb Lambert, Jonathan Allen) performance on Caleb Lambert guest recital.
October 19, 2025 – Premiere of Brett Tomkins’ Reverie for trombone and piano.
October 6, 2025 – Performance of Jean-Francois Charles‘ Legit (Homage to Juan Tizol). Solo trombone with live electronics.
Invited to be a contributor on paper for the Performing Arts Medicine Association Journal. This paper will discuss best practices when dealing with ergonomics, physical and mental well-being, and bio-mechanics in the private studio.
Co-Host of the Trombone(ish) Podcast with Jessica Butler. Launched Spring 2025.
Collaboration with Benjamin Revis, Scientific Glassblower in the Department of Chemistry. Revis has been developing a glass trombone for future public performance.
